Having officially achieved Producer Organisation (PO) status, CORICOOP has submitted its Operational Programme outlining the investments and activities planned for implementation.
Operational Programmes provide access to EU financial aid earmarked for various interventions aimed at specific strategic goals. By adopting this operational programme, OP Coricoop grants its members access to innovative machinery and equipment designed to reduce production costs and enhance overall product quality.
The machinery and equipment purchased through this funding and made available to members include:
Lateral blowers and windrowers / swathers
Dryers / Drying units
Tow-behind / Trailed harvesters
Pre-cleaning and cleaning systems
Pruning residue shredders
Agrometeorological data monitoring stations
Moisture meters
Storage bins / crates
Forklifts
Key Equipment & Infrastructure
Product Quality & Double Harvesting
Operational Programmes also promote product quality improvement by supporting double harvesting (two-pass harvesting). This practice involves harvesting the crop in two separate stages to limit the development of product spoilage and degradation.
